Hey, young people! If you’re looking to be part of a faith community that focuses on holistic advancement: physical fitness, moral and character development as well as spiritual growth, a Christian uniform body may be what you seek.
Uniform bodies are organisations that are often co-curricular to what’s being taught in school, usually focusing on holistic development through fitness, character development, life skills and community.

Through programmes including lessons, camps, treks and team-building activities, uniform bodies give you a chance to be challenged and push your limits within a safe and encouraging community of leaders and peers.
Christian uniform bodies add a faith element to their curriculum by grounding activities and lessons in the Word of God and biblical principles. So, if you’re keen to grow in faith, grow holistically, enjoy the great outdoors and make new friends – check out these uniform bodies!

The organisation’s emblem was originally a plain anchor but incorporated a red cross when BB merged with Boys’ Life Brigade in 1926. Its motto, Sure and Stedfast, is taken from Hebrews 6:19a — “Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast”.
In Malaysia, girls were first incorporated as BB members in 1994 and today, both boys and girls aged 6 to 21 can join the organisation. Today, BB Malaysia has over 8,000 members, 816 officers and 143 companies (groups) across KL, Sabah, Sarawak, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Perak, Melaka.

Royal Rangers (RR) is a Christian outdoor organisation and mentoring ministry that seeks to raise Christlike boys and girls. Its programme is built on the four ways Jesus grew as a child: socially, spiritually, physically and mentally, based on Luke 2:52.
And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Luke 2:52 NIV
RR’s motto is READY, for anything! Its emblem displays the points of a compass, each representing different tenets of the organisation: how a young person grows, core beliefs and eight points of the RR code.

RR’s objectives are to:
- Evangelise and reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ through community and common activities
- Equip adult and junior leaders to apply the RR programme in their areas of responsibility
- Empower the Church with opportunities to improve churches and communities through servant leadership
RR’s programmes include a significant amount of time outdoors, so if you’re into camping, hiking, water activities and mountain climbing, this uniform body is for you. The organisation has nine outposts (groups) in KL, Selangor and Johor.

In everything, we do it for the glory of God
If we believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord, our lives are but an offering to Him. Not just on Sundays, during youth meetings or at rallies and conferences. If Jesus is our Lord, we follow Him in every aspect of our lives.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
1 Corinthians 10:31
Surrounding yourself with a like-minded faith community doing fun activities like camping or Bible quizzes can enrich you not just as a Christian, but as a person too.
